If you’re decided to start grey blending journy but not sure which service to book, don’t stress 😌 this guide will help you choose the right starting point based on your hair history and goals.

What to expect
It is 5-6 hours service, but we only do 2-3 times a year
Soft, blended result — not stripy, not harsh regrowth
Hair feels lighter, softer, more “lived-in”
First session builds the base — refinement may come later
Low-maintenance grow-out (typically 4–6 months)
What to do before service
Build up stronger hair condition, only K18 or Olaplex works
Come with clean, dry hair (no heavy oils or buildup)
Bring reference photos (what you like / don’t like)
Be honest about colour history (especially dark dye)
If unsure about thickness, book extra time
Allow enough time — rushing affects the result
Do you feel like you have a lot of hair?
On thicker or denser hair, this takes more time and precision to ultra-fine highlights and soft, natural texture it’s not just a few foils. It’s about carefully planning where to place each highlight, using multiple tones, and crafting a soft, balanced result.
If you’re unsure, please add extra time when booking.
If we don’t use the extra time, I won’t charge you.
If not enough time is booked, we may need a second appointment to finish.
Booking enough time helps avoid extra visits, and saves you time, effort, and cost.
Natural Hair (Never coloured)
5–25% grey You can choose:
Dimensional → softer, keeps more natural colour Dimensional Grey Blend
Full Custom → brighter, more blonde, bigger change Full Custom Grey Blending
30%+ grey→ Full Custom Grey Blending
Full Custom does not fade faster — soft toning creates a melted transition so it grows out naturally (around 4–6 months).
Colour Build-Up (Dark brown / black history)
This depends on how cool you want your result.
Want minimal warmth → Grey Blending Correction
Okay with softer beige first → Full Custom Grey Blending
If you sensitive warm tone, only want ashy result first → start with:Demi Colour Grey Regrowth Refine to soften contrast until your grey regrowth longer than colour buildup
Light Colour History (Light brown)
If you want a cleaner, cooler tone, correction may be needed:Grey Blending Correction
